"Beret is about a scientist, astonishingly named Beret, who has gained telekinetic abilities through his research at the Evil Corporation. He decides that the Evil Corporation is a tad too evil for his liking, and begins his solitary quest to overthrow the corporation and punish the evil deeds of his employers." -Beret website

"For many years, Beret was a researcher and experiment in the Department of Telekinetics at a large research company called the Evil Corporation. While studying telekinetics, Beret and his research assistants succeeded in granting Beret the power of telekinesis. Shortly after this, Beret became disgusted with the injustices committed in the name of scientific advance by his employers, the Three Evils of the Evil Corporation. Beret has decided to single-handedly destroy the entire corporation and defeat the Three Evils using his remarkable power - a quite daunting task, due to the high security of the Evil Corporation. Each Department is inaccessible to anyone without the proper clearance level, which is determined by the number of Medallions owned by that person. Therefore, in order to reach the Three Evils, who reside in extremely well-protected Departments, Beret will need to collect as many medallions as possible in each Department that he visits in order to gain access to the next. Despite his amazing power, Beret has a perilous journey ahead of him. Only by exhibiting great cunning as well as skill will he be able to accomplish his goal." -Beret Story (In-game Beret)

About the Game Edit

Beret is a free 2D puzzle-platformer PC game made by Kiwisauce that was released on June 7, 2011. It is available for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

Beret's difficulty ranges anywhere from fairly easy at the beginning to extremely hard towards the end, however it never seems to become tedious. The game consists mostly of puzzles, with some instances where quick reflexes are needed. There is also some clever platforming included as well. The bosses (the Three Evils) are all neat, complex and unique in their own ways.

The music in the game is very well made and extremely catchy. The graphics are great as well, with a large variety of colors and close attention to little details.

Beret (with you controlling him) can use his telekinetic powers to move certain specified objects wherever he pleases. Take this to your advantage to solve puzzles, get bonuses, and beat the game.

As long as you have a keyboard with the up, down, left and right arrow keys on it or the letters "W" "A" "S" and "D" on it and a mouse with a left and right click button, you're good to go! Well, you'll also need to have the mental capacity to know how to press those buttons.
